1. Tiada tembak menembak berlaku pada ketika waktu Aman , Tembak menembak hanya berlaku ketika Waktu perintah berkurung sahaja.

2. Keadaan Makanan Mencukupi.dengan bantuan makanan sebanyak 3 C-130 Hercules oleh Kerajaan Malaysia kepada Rakyat Malaysia disana

3 . Sambungan Internet Kembali Pulih pada tahap 65% hingga 75 % kawasan liputan di Kaherah .

Update from Cairo: Bbrp hari yg lalu, ada blog pmbgkang kutuk nape kita lambat hntr sdgkn Indon dah hntr 5 kapal terbang..fuuhhh..last2 hanya satu kapal terbang diberi green light utk landing and ambil penumpang, 400 org drpd 6300. 4 other planes had to redirect and revert. Tu la...now paham x nape careful planning is always essential? X boleh gelojoh2 x tentu hala.

is happy seeing the smiling faces of the Malaysian children in Egypt. Setelah 4-5 hari muka berkerut sbb risau....lol..finally mrk boleh senyum. They know the Govt will take care of them and soon they will be out of Egypt. They are also happy that Internet is back and can email their parents n family in Malaysia! Thank you Govt of Malaysia! Malaysia Boleh!

Updated from Cairo : Makan + minum + penginapan di Jeddah - Parents jangan risau. Makan + minum + penginapan ditanggung 100% oleh pihak KERAJAAN MALAYSIA (BN) up to 3-4 weeks. Dalam masa 3-4 weeks bergantung kepada penutupan universiti, proses penghantaran pelajar akan dilakukan. Method penghantaran dari Jeddah-to-MY masih dlm perbincangan. Jangan risau. Nntikan laporan selanjutnya bila student dah sampai Jeddah

Update from Cairo : Last preparation before evacuation to Jeddah is on way. Staff from wisma putra are on the way to visit diffcities in egypt. Parents in MY who are able to contact their children in EGYPT, please ask them to do what the Embassy ask! Even if they have a valid flight ticket! There have been MANY cases since 31/1 where students try to do it SDN BHD and at the end terkandas...

Update from Cairo : Roaming in Jeddah - Once your children/family have been transported from Cairo to Jeddah, most probably their phone (registered in Egypt) will go roaming. However if you are unable to call them, dont worry. Students will be advised to but local Saudi simcard or they cn use the phone services di kompleks tabung haji. However since 3 main univs are closed for more than 6 months n visa masuk Saudi is only for temporary stay ada kemungkinan kerajaan akan bantu...apa2 pun tunggu pgumuman. Kerajaan x akan biarkan rakyat kita kat sini terkotak katik seorang diri

In Jeddah, students boleh rehat, mandi, makan enak2, call family, pakai internet, basuh baju etc. Arrangement with MAS n Airasia is currently on going and will be informed by Govt later (bila dah berkampung). Update from Cairo : Students who cant afford to buy flight tickets need not worry (x perlu bimbang). Once you've been transfered to Jedda, you can buy ticket to go back to Malaysia via Airasia n MAS. Might be cheaper than buying tickets from Egypt->Dubai->Malaysia via Gulf Air OR Egypt->Jordan->Malaysia via Jordan Air. As many ppl hv mentioned b4 dont buy from Egypt Air.

Update from Cairo : Cairo + Alex (+ then other areas) -> Jedda via sea (Bunga Mas) n air (C-130) -> Camp in Jedda OR -> MY via Airasia + MAS. Priority 4 Cairo + Alex coz other areas are safer.

Update from Cairo : The plan - 3 C130 hercules will take std from Cairo n Alexandria to Jedda. 150-200 std/trip. Trip around 30-45 mins. Ulang alik. KD Bunga Mas takes 500 std per trip to Jedda from Port Adabaiyah. Ulang alik. After all std from Cairo n Alex has been transported, std from other areas will be transported. Jeddah will be our main hub. From Jedda, students want 2 go home can take Airasia/MAS.

Update from Cairo : Gun shots are normal here. For parents in Malaysia, if your children tell you they heard gun shots, dont worry. Most Malaysian are SAFE inside MY houses n halls. The gunshots are shots from Egyptian army to maintain the security in the street during curfew hours (4pm-8am). NO SHOTS were fired during non-curfew hours (8am-4pm).

Update from Cairo : Safety - MYsian r safe. Yes d national alert hv gone to orange (2nd highest) but d alert is primarily for locals (Egyptian). 4 MYsian there since we stay at home/patuhi peraturan curfew etc, everything is OK. d danger is when u go out during curfew hours (4pm-8am). The Egyptian respect Malaysian. They have not/will not hurt us. The fight is btw the ppl vs Govt. Nothing to do with foreigners

Update from Cairo : Jeddah - Capital city of Saudi Arabia. Main hub for MYsian. MYsian will camp here. From here they can take Airasia or MAS. Currently only MAS hv landing rights but Airasia is trying to get one. Once landed in Jeddah, plenty of food, can relax, make phone calls, internet, etc

Update from Cairo : Priority - The first batches that will be transfered over to Jeddah are female std, old ppl, pregnant wmn, sick ppl.

Update from Cairo : On food isue - food is sufficient. when 3 c-130 arrived later today evening, they will bring food. food outside alexandria n cairo e.g. mansoura is not a prob. No worries at all. Dont read rumours on the internet kononnya si Polan called adik/kakak/abg/ipar/kawan/etc di Mesir...if not sure call the Operation Centre in KL.

Update from Cairo : Why focus only in Cairo and Alexandria? Bcoz the worst hit is these two places. Other parts of Egypt are safer - no road block to buy food, can go out etc. Ultimately ALL Malaysian will be transported to Jeddah but will be done in batches starting with the 2 cities. Parents in MY need not worry because all students are accounted for. Nobody is dying of kebuluran. Malaysian are SAFE.

Update from Cairo : 3 C-130 hercules have departed from Subang. Each C-130 will take 150 students at a time. Transfer from Cairo/Alexandria to Jeddah. KD Bunga Mas will take student from Adabiyah Port (2 hrs from Cairo) to Jeddah. Jeddah will be Malaysian main hub. Temporary visa is being applied.
